These terms apply when you use the Label & Leaf website or buy products from us. Please read them before placing an order.

1. About us

Label & Leaf operates this online store from 16 Victoria Street, England, LU6 3BA, United Kingdom. You can contact us at support@labelandleaf.com. Shopify provides the ecommerce platform used by this store.

2. Using the website

You must use the website lawfully and must not interfere with its security, operation or other customers. Website content may be updated, corrected or withdrawn without notice. We do not promise that the website will always be available or error-free.

3. Products and personalisation

Our products are made to order. You are responsible for checking names, dates, spelling, photographs, addresses, options and other personalised details before submitting an order. We may reject content that is unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, infringing or otherwise unsuitable for production.

We take reasonable care to present colours, dimensions and previews accurately, but screens differ and a printed product may vary slightly from its on-screen preview. Natural or manufacturing variations that do not make the product faulty may occur.

4. Orders and acceptance

Submitting an order is an offer to buy. A binding contract is formed when we send an order confirmation accepting your order. We may refuse or cancel an order before acceptance if a product is unavailable, payment is not authorised, pricing is clearly incorrect, fulfilment is not possible, or the order breaches these terms. If payment has already been taken for an order we cannot accept, it will be refunded.

5. Prices, VAT and US sales tax

United Kingdom storefront prices include applicable UK VAT. United States storefront prices exclude sales tax. Where we are required to collect US state or local sales tax, it is calculated and added at checkout. Delivery charges and any other applicable costs are shown before you submit the order.

We may change prices before an order is placed. If a material pricing error is discovered, we may contact you for instructions or cancel and refund the affected order rather than fulfil it at the incorrect price.

6. Payment

Payment is taken using the payment methods offered at checkout. You confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method and that the information provided is accurate.

7. Production and delivery

Production and delivery times are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise. Separate products may be delivered in separate parcels. Risk of accidental loss passes when the order is delivered to the address you supplied, subject to rights that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Because many products are personalised or made to your specification, the normal change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply to those products once production has begun. For products that are not personalised or made to your specification, online cancellation rights continue to apply where required by law. Our voluntary money-back guarantee applies only to transit damage reported within seven calendar days of delivery. After seven days, that voluntary guarantee ends.

Nothing in these terms limits statutory rights for goods that are faulty, misdescribed, not fit for purpose, delivered late where the law gives a remedy, or otherwise protected by mandatory consumer law. Read our Returns and refunds policy for details.

9. Intellectual property and customer content

We or our licensors own the website, designs, illustrations, software, trade marks and other store content. You may use them only for personal shopping and must not copy, sell, modify or distribute them without permission.

You retain ownership of material you upload. You give us and our production, technology and fulfilment providers a limited licence to store, process, reproduce and adapt that material only as needed to provide the service, fulfil your order, prevent fraud, comply with law and handle support. You confirm that you have permission to use uploaded material and that it does not infringe another person's rights.

If uploaded material contains a child's photograph, you must be 18 or over and be the child's parent or legal guardian, or otherwise have authority to provide the photograph for the order. You must not upload a photograph that you are not authorised to use.

For photo-personalised products, original photograph copies and directly identifying working records under our control are scheduled for automatic deletion after 7 days from production completion. Remaining generated preview, artwork and print-production files in active storage under our control are scheduled for automatic deletion after 30 days, with deletion completed by the next scheduled daily cycle. We do not automatically reuse photographs, so a repeat or replacement order requiring a photograph needs a new upload. Further detail is available in our photo data protection policy.

10. Liability

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or mandatory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.

11. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect and will contact you where appropriate. Your mandatory rights, including any applicable delivery remedies, remain unaffected.

12. Changes and severability

The terms in force when you place an order apply to that order. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings that apply in your place of residence.
